This course is designed as an A-Z training program for dental offices to plan their return to care. Attendees will learn about the SARS-CoV-2 virus, modes of transmission, zones of aerosol management and the requirements for PPE, Infection Control and the numerous other requirements for providing dental care in accordance with the guidance and requirements established by the California Department of Public Health, Cal OSHA, CDC and other relevant regulatory and advisory agencies.
Learning Objectives:
1. Identify elimination, administrative and engineering strategies dental offices use to reduce the risk of SARs-CoV-2 transmission
2. Determine the appropriate PPE for the various types of dental care provided in a dental office
3. Describe office procedures that must be adjusted to accommodate the requirements for physical distancing
